About Pizza Cassette
Casual, hip brewery serving wood-fired pies alongside small plates, salads and sandwiches.
Pizza Cassette is a pizza restaurant in San Diego, California. It is listed at 5322 Banks St, San Diego, CA 92110, which places it among the local businesses of San Diego that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as mobile caterer, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 3β8:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Pizza Cassette at (619) 930-1339; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, pizzacassette.com.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I wanted to convey my sincere appreciation for the Elvis pizza + salami. It was truly a delightful culinary experience. The flavors were wonderfully balanced, and the ingredients were exceptionally fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and found it to be most satisfying. Thank you for such an excellent meal.

I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon around 4 PM. The food truck is located right inside of the biergarten. They offer a great selection of pizzas, along with starters and sandwiches. One thing worth noting: happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 3β5 PM, and they offer $5 pizzas, which is a great deal. I ordered: β’ Pork Soda Pizza: Absolutely delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, and the balsamic drizzle really added to the entire dish. The service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and one of the chefs even came out and handed pepperonis to the dogs on the patio. The space itself is spacious with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to hang out with friends, family, or your pup. Overall, excellent service, amazing pizza, and a welcoming atmosphere. I canβt wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu.

Had my 10 yr old daughter with me to pick up the wifey at the airport. Decided to grab some pizza before pick up because I heard it was pretty good. Wow, they were right! My daughter and I absolutely loved their pizza and the atmosphere in the little beer garden. I also had the pastrami sandwich which had a great slaw inside the sandwich. The Tang of the slaw really made it a hit. Even my 10-year-old daughter couldn't resist taking bites. Being able to grab a beer at Deft Brewing or some mead at Lost Cause Meadery seems like it could be a cool place to hang out and enjoy friends. I definitely recommend it!

The food was delicious and for as busy as it was the wait time was very reasonable and quick service. All the staff was very nice and accommodating!! We happened to be there on trivia night which was very entertaining and definitely made us stay longer then planned but all for good reasons. The brewery also has an amaizing selection of beer that makes for a great drink while waiting for your food.

I feel really late to the party on experiencing this place - great vibe, good food, live music. Love the courtyard with multiple complimentary businesses, seat yourself with counter ordering. Its a great place to meet up with friends. I actually discovered them on my Instagram when they were featured by a local food influencer account and started following. When I saw a reel on their special of the week (Notorious F.I.G.) I was finally prompted to check it out. Pie prices are steep but on par with most good pizza places these days. Their special hovered close to $30. I would say the pizzas are larger than a personal size, a modest shared pizza for two (esp. if you are ordering other things). Sadly, they ran out of burrata for the evening so my pizza wasnt really as intended. I inquired about some fresh mozz instead which they brought over but that was cold slices. Still not quite the same but they tried to be accommodating. My pizza was an "eh" opinion (its honestly more flatbread), esp for the high price tag of ingredients I didnt get to experience fully. Thank goodness we also got the Fungadelic (salami, mushroom, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, shallot) because that pizza is BOMB
